Tool Room Technician – 1st & 2nd Shift

Pay: $27.00–$35.00 per hour

1st Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 p.m.–2:00 a.m.

2nd Shift Incentives: 10% shift premium and eligibility for a $1,500 signing bonus

Position Summary

We are seeking Tool Room Technicians to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and support production dies and tooling. This position helps ensure tools are production-ready while responding quickly to breakdowns and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on production dies.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and support production schedules.
• Inspect repaired tooling for proper dimensions, clearances, and alignment.
• Build, modify, fit, and assemble tooling components.
• Operate tool room equipment, hand tools, and punch presses.
• Document completed work and communicate tooling or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of tooling or die-maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
• Experience with tool room machinery and precision inspection.
• Metal-stamping or welding-environment experience is preferred.
• Licensed Tool and Die Maker certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
