Product Design Engineer - Hydraulics / Grand Rapids, MI / Direct Hire Product Design Engineer - Hydraulics Summary: Midwest Recruiters is seeking an experienced engineer with a background in designing hydraulic components. As an Product Design Engineer - Hydraulics, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving hydraulic systems and components. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful implementation of hydraulic solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in 3D Modelling (Solidworks, Pro/E, Inventor, etc.), the ability to interpret and develop hydraulics schematics, and prior experience managing others (designers/drafters). Product Design Engineer - Hydraulics Responsibilities: Design and develop hydraulic systems and components for various applications Conduct analysis and simulations to optimize hydraulic system performance Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hydraulic system issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hydraulic systems Create detailed technical documentation including specifications, drawings, and reports Conduct testing and validation of hydraulic systems to ensure compliance with industry standards Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hydraulic engineering technologies Product Design Engineer - Hydraulics Requirements: 5+ years of 3D Modeling design experience (Solidworks, Pro/E, Creo, Inventor, etc.) 3+ years of Hydraulics experience or exposure - ability to interpret and develop schematics 3+ years of prior management/supervision/mentorship experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed as this position interfaces with internal/external customers, and cross-functional teams within the organization Product Design Engineer - Hydraulics Compensation and Benefits: If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for hydraulic engineering and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply.
