2nd Shift Production Supervisor Salary Range: $53,000 – $68,000 A growing West Michigan manufacturer is seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily production and shipping operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee development while ensuring customer requirements and production schedules are met. The ideal candidate will be a strong floor leader who can motivate teams, solve problems quickly, and maintain efficient operations across multiple departments and shifts. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily production and shipping activities to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals Lead, train, and support production associates while reinforcing standardized work procedures Coordinate staffing, schedules, and resources to meet production demands Monitor production metrics and communicate performance expectations Support process improvements, documentation updates, and audit readiness initiatives Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, Quality, and other internal teams Promote a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing environment Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management support Ensure effective communication and transition of information between shifts Qualifications Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Prior experience as a Production Supervisor, Production Associate Lead, or similar leadership role Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Experience supporting employee training and development Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced production setting Familiarity with ERP or production planning systems is a plus Strong analytical and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word
