This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our client’s manufacturing processes and output.

Toolmaker Overview

The tooling professional will be responsible for building, modifying, repairing, and troubleshooting new and existing tooling in accordance with meticulous design specifications. The role demands a high level of skills in manual machining and precision workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertly build and modify tooling to meet design requirements.
• Perform precise repairs on tooling to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Troubleshoot issues related to tooling and develop sustainable solutions.
• Interpret blueprints and execute work with acute attention to detail.
• Utilize an array of toolroom equipment, including surface grinders, drill presses, and Bridgeport mills, with proficiency.

Requirements

• Proven ability to multitask and maintain high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong capability to read and understand complex blueprints.
• Demonstrated experience with surface grinders, drill presses, Bridgeport mills, and diverse toolroom machinery.
• Preferably 5+ years of tool making or manual machining experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $35 to $45, commensurate with experience.
