Job Title: Product Engineering Manager
Location: Grand Haven, MI
Compensation: $85,000 – $105,000/year

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Engineering Manager to oversee the design, development, and enhancement of our client’s metal products. This role involves strategic leadership, rigorous engineering analysis, and direct involvement in product optimization to meet customer expectations and exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers in the development of robust metal products.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budget allocations to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate product requirements with business objectives.
• Oversee the engineering of prototypes, testing, and final product approval to ensure compliance with required specifications.
• Continuously improve product designs by incorporating new technologies and materials.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards in engineering practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering staff to foster professional growth and maintain high standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in the metal manufacturing industry, particularly with bearings, bushings, and lubrication systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor, Solidworks, etc.) and familiarity with modern engineering tools and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas and building strong relationships both within and outside the company.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive salary $85,000 – $105,000 depending on prior experience.
